There is something to experience throughout the year. Spring is especially popular for tulip season, while the warmer months are ideal for spending more time outdoors. Autumn brings a different atmosphere and winter offers a quieter side of cities such as Amsterdam. The best time to visit ultimately depends on what you would like to see and experience.

Tulip season usually takes place from late March into May, with the exact timing depending on the weather. It is one of the most colourful times to explore the Dutch countryside. Sarah’s Tours also offers private experiences focused on the tulip fields and Keukenhof.

For popular museums and attractions, booking ahead is generally recommended because tickets can sell out. If there is a particular museum or attraction you would like to include in your trip, mention it when contacting us so it can be taken into account while planning your experience.
