Sarah’s Tours creates small-group and private tours for travellers who want more than the standard sightseeing route. Our guides are the heart of the experience. They are the ones who turn a walk through a city, a countryside bike ride or a day among the tulip fields into a story people talk about for years.
We are always looking for enthusiastic local guides to join our team.
What you will do
- Host walking, cycling, boat or day tours for small groups and private clients
- Welcome guests, set the tone and make everyone feel comfortable from the first minute
- Share the history, culture and hidden corners of the area in a way that is lively rather than lecture-like
- Adapt your route and pace to the group, the weather and the day
- Handle practical matters: meeting points, timing, tickets and any last-minute changes
- Answer questions about the area, from the best place for lunch to how the canal system actually works
What we are looking for
- You know the region well and genuinely enjoy showing it to others
- You speak fluent English, additional languages are a strong advantage
- You are comfortable in front of a group and can hold attention without a script
- You are punctual, organised and calm when plans shift
- You are physically able to walk or cycle for several hours a day
- You are registered as self-employed, or willing to register
- Previous guiding, hospitality or teaching experience is welcome but not required. Personality and knowledge matter more than a CV
